Canva vs Crello vs Adobe Spark

Canva, Crello, and Adobe Spark are some of the most popular graphic designing platforms on the market today. If you aren’t familiar with them, though, it might be difficult to decide which one to use. We’ve compared the three to help you find the best one for your personal needs.

Canva has been around since 2012. It was established in Perth, Australia, and is currently a very profitable company with its browser and app offerings made for both educational and business purposes. Crello is a bit newer, having debuted in 2017. To date, this browser-based program now has 20 million available designs and is used by more than two million users all over the world.

Adobe Spark is another browser-based program that is meant to help people create beautiful graphic designs with ease. Created by the popular company Adobe, Adobe Spark also has various templates for designing needs.

User Interface

All three programs are generally easy to create content on, even if you’re a beginner. However, Canva and Crello’s user interfaces are more intuitive and easier to understand from the get-go.

Features

Canva and Crello may offer graphic design features that are simple and easy to use and understand, but they are still powerful and professional enough to make any project stand out. They also offer more features than Adobe Spark. However, Adobe Spark may be the better option if you need to create short videos or web page designs, as well.

Templates

If you like having a lot of templates at your disposal, then Canva definitely has the most templates available out of the three. Conversely, if you don’t want to have to sift through a ton of content just to find something for your graphic design, you might want to opt for Crello or Adobe Spark instead. While they still have a wide selection of templates on-hand, Canva definitely has a larger database, which can be overwhelming if you’re looking to keep things simple and don’t want to overload your mind.

Workflow

Again, if you’re a beginner or want to keep things simple, Canva or Crello would be the better choice for you. Unlike Adobe Spark, Canva and Crello have a super simplified toolbar that is easy to understand. Although all three have guided tours for those who need them, the editor is much more intuitive and the workflow is smoother on Canva and Crello.

Compatibility

All three progams have a mobile app for iOS and Android, so you will have no problem editing and accessing files from your phone if needed. You may also use all three over your phone browser if you’d like. This would be very helpful for those who are always on the go.

Sharing

If you plan on using a designing program for work, Canva has the best tools for sharing. It allows you to schedule your posts from Canva itself and even allows in-app commenting so you will have no problem collaborating with others on the same project.

Pricing

Canva’s professional plan offers more features than Crello and Adobe Spark, but it also costs more. Crello’s paid plan is priced at $7.99 a month (with a free trial), while Adobe Spark is priced at $9.99 per month (with your first month free of charge) for an individual plan or $19.99 per month for a team plan. Canva is priced at $12.99 when paid monthly and $119.99 when paid annually.

Conclusion

All three applications are remarkable when it comes to design once you get used to using them. All you have to do is drag and drop elements as needed. However, Canva is probably the most organised one and the easiest to use if you are a complete beginner at this point. The only downside is that it costs more for a professional plan if you want to add on more features.
